| Description: | Provides assistance to members regarding account information, research, and error correction. Works diligently to meet or exceed the MSC’s defined service goals. Educates members on the Velocity Credit Union products and services they need. Performs a variety of tasks in the Member’s Service Center related to member account processing, maintenance, transactions, and record keeping.
Work Schedule: Flexible scheduling and student schedules are often available.

| Duties: | •Focus on providing outstanding customer service, including identifying new products and services to members that need them, through all means of not-in-person contact, including phone, email, chat, etc.
•Provides the highest quality service and information to members via telephone conversation
• Answers all calls in a timely manner to meet or exceed departmental goals and expectations
• Accurately services member accounts
Takes ownership of reported problems, and drives them through to resolution.
• Cross-sells Credit Union services to members by recognizing their needs
• Identifies and escalates calls to the proper destination for resolution

| Qualifications: | • Strong desire to learn process, procedure, products and services
• Must have the ability to project a positive, professional image at all times, and must be able to interact with difficult people in stressful situations in a calm, rational manner
• Must have good public relations skills in order to serve members, employees, and cross-sell services well.
• Attention to detail and efficiency
• Reliable, dependable and respectful work ethic
• High sense of willingness and a positive attitude
• Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Windows, common office applications, and common office equipment.
• Must be able to accurately type 40 WPM. |
