|Description:||Actively promotes a work environment within the IT Department that consistently delivers superior service to all Credit Union members and employees within the Credit Union. Responsible for the day-to-day network operations and maintenance of servers, workstations, relational databases and physical networking infrastructure. Works directly with Network Manager in developing network system controls, application rollouts and data security maintenance and monitoring.|
Monday Friday 9:00am 6:00pm and always on call as needed. On-call to respond to computer and network problems.
|Duties:|| Maintains network systems, security and back-up files.|
Coordinates repairs of network equipment, and establishes preventative maintenance schedules.
Maintains magnetic media library, hard copy records, cassette back-ups, and system logs in accordance with security requirements.
Maintains systems to current levels of software revisions.
Prepares custom reports for IT Management as needed.
Implements patch management testing and deployment for all hardware and software. This includes routers, firewalls, servers, workstations, printers, anti-virus and any applicable O/S levels.
Administration of backup systems including MSbackup, Backup Exec and Legato
Administration of SAN/NAS storage systems and associated devices.

|Qualifications:|| Must have a High school diploma or equivalent along with additional education in computers from vocational, private, self-paced, or similar sources. Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or related field is a plus.|
Six years experience in a network administrative role is required
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory migration processes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server
Advanced knowledge of modern business e-mail concepts including but not limited to compliancy archiving and tiered Spam defense services
Advanced knowledge of maintaining Microsoft SQL databases
Advanced knowledge WAN networking concepts
Understanding of UNIX concepts
Understanding of the day to day operation of the phone systems.
Must have knowledge of IP4/6 security models.
Advanced understanding of backup systems.
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office applications and application deployment
